Mixed Fours Kicks Off Under Cloudy Skies

The first round of Mixed Fours is officially underway at Club Lake Cathie, with 16 teams taking to the greens hoping to complete 21 ends before the weather had other ideas.

It was a night of stop-start play, with teams heading on and off the greens multiple times as the clouds loomed overhead. Despite the challenging conditions, all participants pushed through and managed to get the round completed – a great result given the uncertainty of the evening.

Well done to everyone who took part in the first round. It takes dedication to keep going when the weather isn’t cooperating, and the spirit shown on the greens was fantastic.
