Club Lake Cathie Joins Purple Friday
Today we’re going more purple than normal at Club Lake Cathie. As proud participants in the ClubsNSW Purple Friday initiative, we’re standing together as a community to raise awareness around domestic and family violence and to support those who need it most.
Purple Friday is a powerful reminder that clubs like ours have a role to play in creating safer, more supportive communities. By wearing purple and standing together, we’re sending a clear message – we say NO to family and domestic violence.
How You Can Show Your Support
Pop in today, wear purple, and stand with us. It doesn’t take much to make a difference. Showing up, wearing the colour, and having the conversation all contribute to raising awareness in our local community.
Domestic and family violence affects people from all walks of life, and it’s important that we come together to acknowledge this and support those who are going through it. Club Lake Cathie is proud to be part of a network of clubs across NSW that are committed to making a difference.
If you or someone you know needs support, please reach out to 1800RESPECT (1800 737 732), available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
