How good is this! We recently had a very special visitor stop in at Club Lake Cathie – meet Trekking Joe, a bloke on an incredible mission to walk across the country!

Joe started his epic journey in Glen Innes and made a pit stop at our club for a well-deserved refreshment. His cart – loaded up with all his gear and stickered up with “Trekking Joe” branding – is a sight to behold. According to the sticker on his cart, his route includes Perth to Sydney, which gives you some idea of the scale of this remarkable adventure.

It’s always a pleasure when interesting characters and inspiring people pass through our doors. Club Lake Cathie is proud to be a welcoming stop for travellers, locals, and everyone in between. We wish Trekking Joe all the best as he continues his incredible trek across Australia – what an effort!
