
The Hastings Cancer Trust received a generous donation of over $3700 from the Women’s Bowlers at their annual Biggest Afternoon Tea event. The fundraiser was a huge success, with over 100 attendees enjoying delicious scones from Lake Cathie Bakery and a fabulous fashion parade by Postie Styling with Kimberly. Prizes and gifts were generously donated by local businesses including Bonny Hills Garden Centre, Caramels, Lakeside Bargains & Homeware, Bonny Hills Pharmacy, Lake Cathie Discount Chemist, Amanda’s Mobile Hairdressing, The Cabana, Hair, Nails & Beauty, Angove Wines, and many others. The support and contributions from the community were truly heartwarming.
The event was a true reflection of a small town with a big heart, showcasing the spirit of unity and generosity. It was a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, show support for a great cause, and enjoy a fantastic afternoon filled with fun and camaraderie. The success of the fundraiser has left everyone looking forward to next year’s event already. The dedication and commitment of the Women’s Bowlers and the support of local businesses have made a significant impact on raising funds for the Hastings Cancer Trust.
